Join an alumnus of Colonial Williamsburg’s legendary Fife and Drum Corps for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. You’ll be led to the Fifes and Drums Building, where you’ll learn the history of military field music, hear how the modern Corps was created and how it evolved, view artifacts and memorabilia, and have all your questions answered. At the end of the tour see some of the work that goes into the flawless performances by sitting in on the afternoon rehearsal – earplugs included!

Join us for a celebration of the presidency with our founding fathers, military program staff, and the Fifes and Drums. This celebration will recognize those citizens who have served in office over the centuries as well as the states most closely associated with each president.
Join us for a special ceremony honoring the men and women who died defending America’s freedom. The Fifes & Drums lead the procession to sites where veterans of the Revolutionary and Civil War are interred, from the Governor’s Palace to Bruton Parish Church and on to the south lawn of the Capitol. The remembrance will offer prayers, laying of wreaths, and musket volleys to pay tribute to their sacrifice.
The Veterans Day March is an afternoon procession and ceremony featuring the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums, Military Programs staff, and area veteran groups. Commemorative service is held behind the Courthouse after the march.
