May 27

5 p.m. Alisa Weilerstein Concert Dinner at the Williamsburg Lodge Restaurant

7:30 p.m. Alisa Weilerstein Concert at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church ($30)

This 20-something cellist plays with passion that transfixes audiences, drawing awestruck reviews from critics for her recitals and performances with great symphony orchestras around the world. “To hear her play is to experience the serenity of being in a master’s hands” (Newsday).

8 p.m. Bela Fleck, The Melody of Rhythm with Zakir Hussain, tabla,
and Edgar Meyer, double-bass

Virginia Room ($45/$35)
Grammy Award–winner and banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck mixes traditions and instruments with the joy of a master chef blending spices. In his latest experiment, “The Melody of Rhythm,” he joins the banjo with the double-bass and Indian tabla drum, revealing new sounds from these beautiful instruments.

5–11 p.m. Tapas and Tunes at the Williamsburg Lodge

Enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious selection of fresh tapas reflecting cuisine from around the world, offered as small plates in the Spanish tradition. Relax in the comfortable Williamsburg Lodge Lounge and enjoy the fantastic acoustic rock sounds of Me & JO.

2 p.m. Wine, Wit, and Wisdom: Broadway Spotlight on Port Wines

During this interactive session, sample the product of some of the great Port wine–producing regions of the world paired with fabulous artisan cheeses. Hosted by Sommelier Charles Birr, Executive Chef Rhys Lewis, and Beverage Specialist William Bright.
